Cord Blood Banking on the Today Show

The other day, the Today Show featured a segment on cord blood banking. This is a great example of some of the uses that are being explored for the stem cells in cord blood. While cord blood stem cells are not currently an approved treatment for cerebral palsy, this demonstrates that there seems to be evidence that they can be used to treat a much wider variety of diseases than originally thought.
